Clayton is a writer and Editor-in-Chief at The Section Magazine. He brings over a decade of experience working with publications, brands, and businesses in print and digital publishing. His work has appeared The Surfer’s Journal, Zigzag, Wavelength, The Big Issue, San Diego Magazine, and more.

Clayton was born and raised in the Eastern Cape of South Africa and moved to the United States in 2012. He holds a master’s degree in Creative Writing from the University of Cape Town, and a bachelor’s in Media and Communication from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University.
